Sunraku and the bunnies have it easy in the new location thanks to Lycagon’s mark, which stops the miasma and chases away monsters. If they want to go faster, he says they should climb the rocks, but there are enormous beasts. The Crystal Scorpions are too formidable an opponent, according to Emul and Bilac.
Despite Sunraku’s excitement, the rabbits encourage him to continue on their current journey. As soon as he spots a monster’s outline, the bunnies warn him to flee because it indicates the presence of at least twelve other Scorpions in the area.
They continue on foot until they reach an enigmatic black dome. As the fog rolls in, the Humming Lich, the boss, emerges. Sunraku runs at the skeleton, thinking he can curse players, but his blow misses. A weapon with holy attributes is required, according to Bilac, and they currently do not own one.
After coming up with an idea, Bilac asks Sunraku to step in for her for a little while. After that, he equips Emul to his arm and fires the Rabbit Gun once more. Not nearly as much as he had hoped, but it does the trick. As soon as the second Magic Edge strike lands on the monster, the skeleton calls upon many clones, each armed with a unique set of abilities.
The good news is that Bilac simultaneously hands him Dullahan’s Decapitator, which now has a sacred quality. On the other hand, Sunraku has an 8-use limit. And so, in an effort to better understand the Lich, he experiments. When the player’s clone accidentally hits the main body, they learn that their health is low and that they share it.
Sunraku starts his strategy by hurling Bilac into the distance and then sprints with Emul slung over his arm. The rabbit applies Magic Edge to the clones while he stacks many abilities simultaneously. He dispatches the archer first, then aims an axe at the Lich. They manage to wipe off all the clones in a single go using that tactic.
