It exhibits various mechanics common in sandbox survival games, such as crafting and building, and the need to take care of several statuses such as hunger and warmth.

Furthermore, your Pals have needs that you’ll have to take care of as well, and they can fall victim to several status effects and sicknesses.

That’s right, several medical conditions can affect your Pals. Moreover, Pals can get sick randomly, and although they can still work, their speed decreases significantly and their Sanity gets harder to control.

Curing Ulcer

Medieval Medicine Workbench

Ulcers can be a massive annoyance, especially in the early game, as they cannot be cured reliably without resources you can only get from leveling up. For example. the Medieval Medicine Workbench, which you need to craft Medical Supplies, can only be crafted after reaching level 12.

You’ll need the following resources to craft a Medieval Medicine Workbench:

30x Wood
5x Nail
10x Paldium Fragments

Crafting Medical Supplies

Once you’ve placed your Medicine Workbench, you can interact with it to select recipes and Medical Supplies.

To craft Medical Supplies, you’ll need the following resources:

3x Ingot
3x Horns (can be farmed from Eikthyrdeer)
1x Bone (can be obtained by catching Vixyr and Rushoar)

Feeding Pals Medicine

If the ailing Pal is a worker in your base, approach it and press the “Command Pal” key. Then, select the “Feed” option from the menu and choose Medical Supplies.

If the ailing Pal is in your party, simply right click on the medicine in your inventory and select the Pal to feed them the medicine.
