Maybe it shouldn’t be called the Lovers & Friends Music Festival after all.
Chris Brown and Usher took part in the R&B music event in Las Vegas on Saturday evening (May 7), following a fight that reportedly took place between the two musicians earlier in the day.
According to a video acquired by TMZ, Usher, and Brown allegedly fought Saturday morning at Brown’s 34th birthday celebration at the Skate Rock City roller rink.
Per TMZ, the “Under The Influence” singer was attempting to talk to Teyana Taylor and became enraged when she disregarded him which caused Usher to intervene in an attempt to calm Brown down. Then in a fit of rage Brown told his crew they were leaving as they exited the facility and Usher followed them out.
Usher then returned from meeting the group behind a line of charter buses with what seemed to be a bloody nose, claimed TMZ, citing an eyewitness.
Representatives for Usher, Brown and Taylor have yet to come forward with a statement, although Usher’s son’s Instagram’s Story seems to hint that the altercation between Usher and Brown did in fact take place.

Later that day, both artists took part in the festival, which counted Mariah Carey, Nelly, Sean Paul, Pitbull, Missy Elliott and more among some of its guests; yet still neither of the singers brought up the fight during their sets or showed any evidence of injuries.
However, the two have been friends for many years which may be why Usher felt compelled to step in to diffuse the situation and why the two may be down playing it. Whatever it may be, we wish the best for all parties involved!
