2C Kids Week needs your help with High Five Friday

2C Kids Week this week is about showing support and providing hope for the youth in our community to make sure they know they are supported and that they matter.

A great volunteer opportunity to support the youth in our community is Friday, April 14th in both Nampa and Caldwell, High Five Friday.

2C Kids is one intense week where we celebrate all across canyon county, our youth - that they are supported by police, schools first responders, by the business community, by their healthcare institutions. And this year's theme is HOPE is a superpower and hope stands or healthy outcomes for positive experiences," says Claudia Weathermon 2C Kids Volunteer. "So when we surround our kids with the support and love and knowing that they have many people in the community that support them it can help counteract the negative things that our kids face today. so it’s very important to surround our kids with this kind of support.

Volunteers will greet kids outside their school on Friday, April 14, with a friendly high five! There are still a handful of volunteer slots open at several of the schools in both Nampa and Caldwell. Please click here to find out more information.

If you can't make it out to one of the schools to give a High Five on Friday, you can leave a Hope Note here.
